When using a Horizontal Laminar Airflow workstation, it’s crucial to follow proper operating procedures to ensure the integrity of the controlled environment and the success of the work being performed. Regular maintenance, filter replacement, and cleaning are also important to maintain the effectiveness of the workstation.
HORIZONTAL LAMINAR AIR FLOW WORKSTATION
A Horizontal Laminar Airflow Workstation, also known as a Horizontal Flow Clean Bench or Laminar Flow Hood, is a type of controlled environment equipment commonly used in laboratories, medical facilities, and other settings where a sterile or particulate-free workspace is required. It provides a controlled environment to work with sensitive materials, equipment, or processes by creating a clean and particle-free space.
Horizontal Laminar Air Flow Workstation is designed specifically for highest product protection by providing ISO class 5 particle free work area for handling critical process. The main HEPA Filter is situated immediately behind the working area, clean air is then blown across the work surface towards the operator. The work area is continuously supplied with positive pressure HEPA fitered horizontal air flow. It prevents contamination from operator and environment to work area. The laminarity of the flow prevents cross contamination between the items handled in the working space.
